Healthy life depend on enzymes?

Enzymes are important. This is essentially the message of “the enzyme factor” book by MD Hiromi Shinya. Being a pioneer of modern colonoscopy and having practice medicine in New York and Japan over four decades, Shinya has earned his credibility. The book has many bold statements such as promise to “never be sick” and “zero cancer recurrence rate“. This of course provided adherence to the enzyme factor life style.

Shinya advocates that cow milk is harmful and animal protein should be consume in moderation.

The book concludes seven golden rules for good health: (1) A good diet, (2) Good water, (3) Regular Elimination, (4) Moderate Exercise, (5) Adequate Rest, (6) Breathing and Meditation, and (7) Joy and Love.

The Enzyme factor is easy and enjoyable to read (158 pages). Perhaps some promises and statements are too bold but sometimes exaggeration is needed to get a message across.
